quneo
QuNeo was our first foray at KMI into percussive instruments. It features smart fabric faders, rotaries, and an array of drum pads. Each component is pressure sensitive, the pads track x,y as well, and the long slider supports multi-touch ranging. From a resident advisor review:
the makers of the QuNeo, asked for $15,000 to support their idea. They got ten times that amount. Herbie Hancock and John Paul Jones from Led Zeppelin wanted to back it.
It has been featured in Wired magazine, spotted on the sets of American Idol, EMPIRE, and in the hands of many more talented artists.
